A centre built around small, steady progress

Lotus Steps is a child development centre in Visakhapatnam for children with developmental, behavioural, communication and learning difficulties.

Why “Lotus Steps”

A lotus grows from the bottom of a pond, one stage at a time, until it opens above the water. We think of children's development the same way. Progress rarely comes in leaps. It comes from small, repeated steps, taken often and with the right support.

That's why our programmes are built on daily sessions, with families involved every day and progress measured at regular intervals.

How we work

Four principles shape every programme at Lotus Steps.

Consistency

Five 45-minute sessions a week for each therapy. Regular practice is what builds lasting skills.

Parents as partners

The last five minutes of every session are for you: what we worked on, what went well, and what to practise at home.

Measured progress

A progress review every 3 months and a full re-evaluation every 6 months, so the plan keeps up with your child.

Joined-up care

Speech, behaviour and occupational therapists plan together, and every Saturday all three work with the children as one group.
